Crate Racin' USA Awards Banquet Rescheduled Due to Pending Winter Storm
(Eastaboga, AL — January 8, 2025) - Crate Racin’ USA officials, in collaboration with Dollywood’s HeartSong Resort & Lodge, have announced the rescheduling of the Annual Awards Banquet and Promoter’s Meeting due to increased confidence in a potentially hazardous winter storm. The event, originally planned for this weekend, will now take place the following weekend, on Friday, January 17, 2024, and Saturday, January 18, 2024.
Revised Schedule:
Friday, January 17, 2024: “Taste of RPM” Promoter’s Meeting presented by MyRacePass and Speed Sport TV.
Saturday, January 18, 2024: 2024 Crate Racin’ USA Awards Banquet.
Reason for the Change:
With forecasts predicting severe winter weather conditions that could create hazardous travel scenarios, Crate Racin’ USA prioritizes the safety and well-being of its attendees. Series Director Adam Stewart expressed his concerns, stating:
"We hate to move the event but feel that safety is imperative over the need to have the event this weekend. Ensuring everyone can attend safely is our top priority."
Room Reservations Update:
Guests who booked their accommodations Dollywood’s HeartSong Resort & Lodge will have their reservations automatically transferred to the new dates. Those unable to attend on the rescheduled weekend will have up to 72 hours before check-in to cancel their bookings without penalty. Dollywood’s HeartSong Resort & Lodge has announced they are reopening the room block for anyone who might still need to reserve a room. They can mention Crate Racin' USA and get the special rates for the weekend, the deadline to reserve for next weekend is Monday, January 13th.
