Inclement Weather Forces Postponement of 12th Annual Battle of the States!

(Meridian, MS - March 13, 2025) - Due to the consistent and severe weather forecast predicting possible tornadoes, hail, and a 100% chance of severe thunderstorms for Saturday, officials at Whynot Motorsports Park have made the difficult decision to postpone this weekend's 12th Annual Battle of the States.

While postponing an event this early is not typical, the decision was made with the safety of fans, teams, and staff in mind. This early announcement allows everyone ample time to adjust travel plans, cancel reservations, and prioritize safety.

The 12th Annual Battle of the States has been rescheduled for April 4-5. We appreciate everyone's understanding and look forward to seeing you all at the "House of Hook" in just a few weeks!

The Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin' USA Street Stock Division and the Mississippi Street Stock Series presented by Jackson Industrial Services will be racing for $1500 to-win and a championship belt. Racing will also feature CRUSA Late Models ($1500 to-win), CRUSA Late Model Sportsman ($1000 to-win), Factory Stock ($1000 to-win), Open Wheel Modified ($1000 to-win), and Enduros ($300 to-win).

Fans can follow all MSSS updates on the series Facebook page and find the official Crate Racin' USA Street Stock rules at https://www.crateracinusa.com/rules/.
