Unfavorable Weather Forecast Postpones Street Stock World Championship at Whynot
(Eastaboga, AL - May 1, 2025) - Due to the consistent weather forecast of thunderstorms for the next couple days, Whynot Motorsports Park and the Mississippi Street Stock Series have made the difficult decision to postpone this weekend's Street Stock World Championship.
The Whynot Facebook page shared these words, "We tried delaying this decision as long as possible hoping the forecast would improve". They also shared "We hope everyone understands our decision and hopefully we'll see you soon at the House of Hook". The good news is the Facebook post also shared they will be announcing a make-up date soon.
Drivers and teams with the Mississippi Street Stock Series with now gear up for a trip to the Deep South Speedway in Loxley, AL for the Battle at the Beach June 5-7. For more information, please visit the Mississippi Street Stock Series Facebook page.
