American Crate Late Model Series Heads to Texas for Double-Header Weekend
(Dallas, TX – May 6, 2025) — After a rain-soaked start to the season, the American Crate Late Model Series is set to roar back to life with a Texas double-header weekend featuring two nights of high-octane racing action. The series will make its long-awaited return on Friday, May 9 at Hunt County Raceway in Greenville, TX for the $2,500-to-win Jerry Shipp Memorial, followed by a $1,500-to-win feature event on Saturday, May 10 at RPM Speedway in Crandall, TX.
This weekend’s events mark a pivotal point in the season after Mother Nature forced the cancellation of three consecutive races — April 5 at 105 Speedway (Cleveland, TX), April 25 at Heart O’ Texas Speedway (Waco, TX), and April 26 at Grayson County Speedway (Sherman, TX). So far, only two races have been completed: Corey Neil Jr. took the checkered flag at Sabine Speedway in Many, LA on March 21, and David Winslett claimed victory at Boothill Speedway in Greenwood, LA.
