Rain Postpones MS Crate Late Racing Series at Jackson; Double Features Set for August 9th

(Byram, MS - May 25, 2025) – Inclement weather has forced the postponement of Round 2 of the 2025 Mississippi Crate Late Racing Series season at Jackson Motor Speedway. With the event cut short before the feature race, the series has announced a rescheduled date: Saturday, August 9th. When the series returns to Jackson, fans can look forward to double features and double points on the line.

The MS Crate Late Racing Series shared a statement on Facebook, saying, “Unfortunately, tonight's main event feature has been postponed until our scheduled return to Jackson Motor Speedway on August 9th.” They also urged teams to hold on to their armbands for pit entry. “We apologize for the inconvenience,” the statement concluded.

Before the rain hit, the night saw some intense racing action, including Qualifying and Heat 1, plus the Quick 6 Dash. Sid Scarbrough dominated Dash 1, while Chase Williams took the top spot in Heat 1.
