Price Claims CRUSA Modified Sportsman Victory at Magnolia

(Columbus, MS - May 26, 2025) — Hometown driver Parker Price of Columbus, MS, scored a victory in the Crate Racin’ USA Modified Sportsman feature on Saturday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway. The win marks Price’s second feature win of the season at “The Mag,” with his first coming back on April 12th.

Saturday night’s action kicked off the 602 World Championships weekend, headlined by the CRUSA Late Model Sportsman 602 late models. However, Mother Nature intervened, forcing track officials to postpone night two of the event. A makeup date is currently being discussed, with further details to be announced.

Price showcased his speed early, winning his heat race and earning a spot on the outside of the front row for the feature. He quickly took command at the drop of the green flag, leading all 15 laps to secure the checkered flag ahead of Jason Hollis of Thelsville, AL, and Ron Grandel of Waterford, MS, who charged from fifth to finish third.

“It felt really good to get another win under my belt,” Price shared in victory lane. “My dad has my car pretty quick right now, and I can’t thank him enough.” Price also expressed his appreciation to his team and supporters, saying, “I would like to thank all of my sponsors and, most importantly, my Grammy and Pawpaw for having great equipment for me to wheel. And I thank the good Lord above for giving me the ability to drive a racecar.”
