CRUSA Late Model Sportsman Tour to Conclude June 14th Event on October 17th at Talladega Short Track
(Eastaboga, AL – June 16, 2025) – Following a weather-shortened evening at the Talladega Short Track on Saturday, June 14th, officials have announced that the Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Late Model Sportsman Tour will return to Eastaboga, Alabama on Friday night, October 17th to complete the postponed feature event.
The rescheduled race will be held as part of the Red Farmer Tribute/Jerry Godwin Challenge Weekend, aligning with the NASCAR weekend festivities just across the street at the Talladega Superspeedway. The make-up feature will spotlight the 24 cars already locked into the $2,000-to-win main event.
Talladega Short Track officials shared details of the rescheduled event via social media, stating, “The make-up feature will be the only race for that division on that night. No double features. Cars will be given a Hot Lap session, and any new entries for the division will have to start at the back of the field (in the order they sign in). This is the only way we can fairly give rainchecks and complete these features". The other classes involved in the rain-out will have their own make up dates and those are posted on the Talladega Short Tracks Facebook page.
The Crate Racin’ USA Late Model Sportsman Tour now turns its attention to Pine Ridge Speedway in Guntown, Mississippi on Saturday, July 5th for a $3,000-to-win showdown, marking the next stop on the 2025 schedule.

August 16 – Senoia Raceway (Senoia, GA) – $2,000 to win
October 17 – Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, AL) – $2,000 to win (June 14th Make-Up Feature)
November 21–22 – Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, GA) – $2,500 to win
November 28–29 – Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, GA) – $5,000 to win
