Coffey and Davis Claim Feature Wins at Swainsboro Raceway Friday Night
(Swainsboro, GA – July 18, 2025) – A summer Friday night of high-intensity Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing brought the fans to their feet at Swainsboro Raceway, with a full field of Late Model Sportsman and Street Stocks putting on a show in the Georgia heat. When the dust settled, Wyatt Coffey and Matt Davis stood tall in their respective divisions.
CRUSA Late Model Sportsman – Coffey Awarded Victory After Post-Race DQ
The CRUSA Late Model Sportsman feature saw 20 entries battle it out in a talent-packed 20-lap main event. Ches Chester originally crossed the line first after leading flag-to-flag, but the celebration was short-lived. Following post-race tech inspection, Chester’s car was deemed light at the scales, handing the victory to Wyatt Coffey in the No. 2 machine.
Coffey, who started ninth, stayed patient throughout the race, methodically working his way to the front and ultimately being in position to capitalize on the disqualification. Payton Stevenson finished second after starting from the outside of Row 2, with Kendal Tucker rounding out the podium.
Baker Davis and Jared Jones completed the top five, while Kyle Couchenour was named the Hard Charger, gaining nine positions to finish 10th after starting from the tail of the 20-car field.
