Rain Forces Crate Racin’ USA Postponement at Tri County Racetrack
(Brasstown, NC – August 8, 2025) – A heavy downpour just before the scheduled drivers’ meeting, forced officials at Tri County Racetrack and the Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series to postpone Friday night’s $3,000-to-win program. Despite efforts to prepare the racing surface, the saturated track conditions made it impossible to continue with the evening’s racing action.
Both series and track officials are currently evaluating potential make-up dates for the event. Once a suitable date is confirmed, details will be posted on the Crate Racin’ USA website and social media channels, as well as through Tri County Racetrack’s outlets.
With night one of the double-header washed out, the focus now shifts south to Woodstock, GA, where Dixie Speedway will host the Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series on Saturday night. The $3,000-to-win feature will mark the sixth event of the 2025 season and the series’ third all-time visit to the historic red clay oval. Support divisions scheduled to compete include 602, 602 B, Open Wheel Modifieds, and Stingers.
