MSSS Heads to Baton Rouge Raceway for the 2025 Louisiana State Championship

(Eastaboga, AL – October 28, 2025) – The Mississippi Street Stock Series presented by Jackson Industries rolls into Baton Rouge Raceway this weekend for one of the most anticipated events of the fall — the 2025 Louisiana State Championship, set for October 30th through November 1st.

Drivers from across the Gulf South will converge on “The Fastest Family Fun in Town” for three action-packed nights of racing and festivities, highlighted by a $1,500-to-win feature for the Mississippi Street Stock Series on Saturday night.

The weekend kicks off Thursday, October 30th with Open Practice from 7PM–10PM, giving teams valuable track time to dial in setups before racing begins.
On Friday, October 31st, qualifying and heat races take center stage at 8PM, with Mini Wedges contesting their full program and Crate Late Models racing for $700-to-win. The Mississippi Street Stocks will qualify and run heats using passing points to set up Saturday’s main event.

The grand finale comes Saturday, November 1st, as championship features and last chance qualifiers take to the Baton Rouge clay. The Mississippi Street Stock Series will battle for $1,500-to-win and $150-to-start, alongside the CRUSA Late Models racing for $1,300-to-win, Limited Modifieds for $1,000-to-win, and Factory Stock, Rookie Limited, and Young Guns all chasing state glory.

Adding to the family atmosphere, a Trick or Treat for the Kids will take place on Saturday at 8PM, where all drivers are encouraged to hand out candy from their cars on the frontstretch. Fans can also enjoy a free jambalaya dinner in the pits Friday at 5:30PM for everyone with a pit pass.
