Street Stock World Championship Set for Action at “The House of Hook”

(Eastaboga, AL – November 6, 2025) - The stage is set for one of the biggest weekends of the year at Whynot Motorsports Park, as the 3rd Annual Street Stock World Championship rolls into Meridian, Mississippi, this Thursday through Saturday, November 6–8.

This event has quickly become a cornerstone of the late-season calendar, drawing the best Street Stock competitors from across the Southeast to battle for an impressive $8,000 payday and the right to call themselves “World Champion.”

The action begins on Thursday, November 6, with open practice for all divisions, giving teams and drivers a chance to dial in their setups on Whynot’s famed red clay oval — a surface affectionately known to fans and racers alike as “The House of Hook.”

On Friday night, attention turns to the CRUSA/MSSS Street Stocks, who will hit the track for qualifying and heat races to set the stage for Saturday’s championship features. Friday’s program will also include three support classes: Factory Stocks ($600 to win), CRUSA Late Model Sportsman ($600 to win), and Crown Vics ($250 to win) following Magnolia Motor Speedway rules.

Saturday, November 8, will be the crescendo of the weekend, featuring a complete night of feature racing. The CRUSA/MSSS Street Stocks headline the card with B-Mains, the $8,000-to-win main event, and a pair of $500-to-win Non-Qualifier Features, ensuring that every entry will compete in a paying race.

Also on the Saturday program will be a stout lineup of divisions, including Factory Stocks ($750 to win), CRUSA Late Models ($1,000 to win), Open Wheel Modifieds ($600 to win), and Hot Shots/Stingers ($500 to win) running under SCDRA rules.

The 2025 Street Stock World Championship weekend is made possible thanks to tremendous support from TraxPlus, Chick-fil-A, Advanced Auto Glass by Joey, Truckers’ Supply Company Inc., Camper Kingdom, and Strength Roofing & Siding, who continue to stand behind the Mississippi racing community and events like this that bring drivers and fans together for a celebration of grassroots competition.

Over just three short years, the Street Stock World Championship has solidified itself as one of the premier Street Stock events in the country. The combination of big money, high stakes, and Whynot’s reputation for close, side-by-side racing has made the event a “must-attend” for both competitors and fans.

As the season winds down, all eyes turn to Meridian to see who will join the elite list of past World Champions and hoist the championship trophy in front of a packed Whynot Motorsports Park grandstand.
