Walker Wins CRUSA Street Stock Feature at Needmore
(Eastaboga, AL – November 25, 2025) – Mayo, Florida’s Devin Walker closed out Needmore Speedway’s season by capturing the CRUSA Street Stock portion of the 14th Annual Early Bird 50 on Saturday night. Walker pocketed the $2,000 top prize after powering to the lead on lap 21 and controlling the final five laps to secure one of the most prestigious victories of the year.
Walker, who also set fast time in qualifying with a blistering 18.338-second lap, positioned himself near the front early and steadily applied pressure to race-long leader Jared Jones. Jones, of Swainsboro, Georgia, started on the outside pole and appeared poised for a breakthrough victory as he paced the opening 75 percent of the 25-lap feature. But as the leaders navigated traffic in the closing circuits, Walker seized his opportunity, slipping by Jones for the top spot and never looking back.
Once out front, Walker drove away to the checkered flag while Ocala, Florida’s Mike Stalnaker made his own late charge, overtaking Jones for the runner-up position. Jones held strong to round out the podium after leading the opening 21 laps.
Further back in the field, the Hard Charger Award went to Heath Walker, who stormed from 16th to seventh, gaining nine positions. Heat race winners on the night included Dustin Hughes, Jones, and Cameron Metts.
