Mississippi Crate Late Model Series Kickoff 2025 at Pine Ridge!
(Eastaboga, AL – April 29, 2025) – The wait is over! The Mississippi Crate Late Model Racing Series sanctioned by Crate Racin' USA returns this Saturday, May 3rd, at Pine Ridge Speedway in Guntown, Mississippi, launching the 2025 season with an exciting night of dirt track racing.
The season opener offers racers a $2,000-to-win purse with $200 to start, plus a $100 Fast Time Award courtesy of All Star Performance. It’s the first step on the road to the $5,000 Series Championship, and the stakes couldn’t be higher.
Race fans will witness some of the region’s top Crate Late Model drivers go wheel-to-wheel on one of Mississippi’s most exciting dirt ovals. The event promises edge-of-your-seat excitement and family-friendly fun under the lights.

August 8 – Hattiesburg Speedway (Hattiesburg, MS)
August 9 – Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, MS)
September 6 – Greenville Speedway (Greenville, MS)
October 18 – Pike County Speedway (Magnolia, MS)
Each event on the 2025 tour maintains a consistent $2,000-to-win and $200-to-start format, designed to attract a competitive field across the region.
A Look Back at 2024:
The inaugural season in 2024 set the bar high. Chris McElhenney of Decatur, MS claimed the championship title with three feature wins and six Top 5 finishes in just seven starts. He edged out strong challengers including Chase Cooper, David Williamson, and Sid Scarbrough, cementing his legacy as the first-ever series champion.
