Daniel Becomes Sixth Different Winner at Southern Oklahoma

(Ardmore, OK - May 18, 2025) - The American Crate Late Model Series made its 11th stop at Southern Oklahoma Speedway on Saturday night, and once again, the fans were treated to a thrilling display of dirt track racing. Patrik Daniel of Wills Point, TX etched his name into the history books by becoming the sixth different winner at the Ardmore, OK oval—claiming victory in Round 4 of the 2025 season. It's Daniel's eighth career American Crate Late Model Series win and his first since July of 2023 at Hunt County Raceway.

After starting on the outside of the front row, Daniel shadowed pole-sitter Dennie Gieber through the opening laps before making the decisive move on lap 11. Once out front, Daniel never looked back, holding off Gieber and third-place finisher Robbie Starnes to secure the win in the 25-lap main event.

Gieber, of Tonganoxie, KS, controlled the early stages and remained within striking distance to the checkered flag, finishing a strong second. Starnes, hailing from Baytown, TX, rounded out the podium with another consistent top-three effort.

The Hard Charger Award of the night went to Tim Simmons, who stormed through the field from his 19th starting position to finish eighth, showcasing both patience and performance in a stacked field of competitors.

With the win, Daniel joins an elite list of ACLMS winners at Southern Oklahoma Speedway, including Chase Allen, Dean Abbey, Kaden Honeycutt, Chris Bragg, and Cory Davis. This marked the series’ most visited venue, edging out Heart O’ Texas Speedway, which has hosted the tour eight times and is the next stop on the calendar.
