Crate Racin’ USA Thunders into Xtreme Speedway for Independence Day Double-Header

(Eastaboga, AL – July 3, 2025) – Fireworks won’t just be in the sky this weekend—Crate Racin’ USA is bringing a Fourth of July weekend full of high-octane action to Xtreme Speedway in Danville, Alabama. The Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series is locked and loaded for Round 5 of the 2025 season, and fans are in for a two-night racing spectacular on July 4th and 5th.

The celebration kicks off tonight, with an open practice session from 6:00 to 10:00 PM for all classes—offering teams one last chance to dial in their machines before the weekend’s high-stakes racing.

Friday night will feature twin 20-lap non-points Crate Racin’ USA Late Model features, each paying $1,500 to win. More than just prize money is on the line—each feature winner will also earn a guaranteed front-row starting spot in Saturday night’s $5,000-to-win main event. Feature 1’s winner will take the pole position, with Feature 2’s winner claiming the outside front row.

Also on the card Friday are twin 12-lap Modified features along with CRUSA 602 Sportsman, Mini Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Buzz classes. Friday will not count toward track championship points, making it a prime opportunity for out-of-town drivers to mix it up with local talent.

Saturday night is the main event, headlined by a 50-lap, $5,000-to-win Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series feature that awards full series and track points. Saturday’s program also includes twin CRUSA 602 Sportsman features, plus action from Modifieds, Mini Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Buzz divisions. Capping off the evening will be a massive Independence Day fireworks show, lighting up the Danville sky.

Fans holding rain-out armbands from last weekend’s postponed events can use them Friday night or upgrade for just $5 on Saturday—just don’t forget to bring your original band.

Jeremy Steele of York, South Carolina enters the weekend as the current Crate Racin’ USA points leader with 380 points. Trailing closely are Jimmy Thomas of Phenix City (348 pts) and Pearson Lee Williams of Dublin (344 pts), setting the stage for another thrilling showdown in the series’ highly competitive 2025 campaign.

The season so far has seen four different winners: Michael Brown at Needmore, Layton Sullivan at Screven, Jeremy Steele at Swainsboro, and most recently Cory Hedgecock at I-75.

The Rookie of the Year battle is just as intense, with Steele also leading the standings ahead of Williams, Austin Yarbrough, Caleb Gay, Koulten Herbert, and Bobby Mills.
