Ivey Scores $5,000 Turkey 100 Victory as Johnson Clinches 2025 CRUSA Late Model Sportsman Tour Championship

(Swainsboro, GA – November 30, 2025) – The second season for the Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Late Model Sportsman Tour has officially wrapped, and the finale at Swainsboro Raceway delivered both a new event winner and a newly crowned champion. Moultrie, Georgia’s Brayden Johnson completed his breakout year by securing the 2025 series championship, while Union, South Carolina’s Trent Ivey captured the prestigious $5,000 Turkey 100 feature win.

Johnson’s steady performance throughout the year—collecting 3 Top 5 finishes and 9 Top 10s across 10 championship events—allowed him to maintain the points lead for most of 2025. His 16th-place finish in Saturday’s finale was enough to officially secure the title.

For Johnson, the championship represents far more than statistics or standings. “Becoming the Champion is the highlight of my racing career. It reflects the hours of work, the lessons learned from every setback, and the persistence that my team and I carried throughout the season,” Johnson said after clinching the title.

He continued with heartfelt appreciation for those who supported him along the journey: “First and foremost, I want to thank God for blessing me with the opportunity, the strength, and the protection to chase this dream. I want to thank my dad and my grandpa for everything they’ve taught me, for the sacrifices they’ve made, and for never letting me give up. Thank you to Dusty, Kyle, Reese, Ragen, and Austin for all the hard work, the late nights in the shop, and the support at every race. To Mama, Heaven, and Jayley, thank you for always believing in me, lifting me up, and cheering me on no matter what.”

Johnson also expressed gratitude for the partners backing his program: “I also want to give a huge thank-you to all of my amazing sponsors. Without you, none of this would be possible — Finish Line Electric Co., Kinco Equipment Sales, Renegade Race Fuels & Lubricants by Kinco, M&W Contracting, Warner Recovery Agency, State Line Outdoor Services, Bridges Auto Service, Warrior Creek Tire, Ulm Diesel Repair, Reno's Quality Collision and Repair, Big T's Racing Supply, Impulse Industrial Services, and Automotive Transfers Inc. Thank you all for believing in me, supporting my program, and helping make this season one I’ll never forget.”

Johnson joins inaugural series champion Logan Bradford as only the second driver to earn the Late Model Sportsman Tour title. Chase Giddens once again finished runner-up—28 points back—while Caleb Ashby finished third, closing out the year just 34 points behind the champion.

The Turkey 100 main event belonged to “The Little Headknocker” Trent Ivey, who stormed from the 7th-starting position to earn his first career Crate Racin’ USA Late Model Sportsman Tour victory. Ivey made the winning move on lap 13, slipping past Ches Chester and never looking back over the remaining circuits.

With the milestone triumph, Ivey becomes the 17th different winner in just two seasons of competition for the Chevrolet Performance 602 Late Model-based touring series.

Ches Chester held on to finish second, while Needmore podium finisher Bubba Roling grabbed the third and final podium spot.
