Deep South Speedway’s Forever 51 Weekend set for this Weekend
(Eastaboga, AL - May 12, 2026) – After Mother Nature forced the postponement of the original May 1-2 dates, Deep South Speedway is set to bring back one of the biggest dirt track events of the season this weekend with the rescheduled “Forever 51” weekend on Friday and Saturday, May 15-16.
The special two-night event honors the life and memory of Chandler Shaw while showcasing some of the best grassroots dirt track racing action in the region at the fast 3/8-mile oval in Loxley, Alabama.
Headlining the weekend will be the “Forever 51” Factory Stock & Pure Stock Challenge paying a massive $5,100-to-win, drawing top competitors from across the Gulf Coast and surrounding states. Fans can expect packed fields, intense side-by-side racing, and an emotional weekend celebration in remembrance of Shaw.
Friday night’s program will feature qualifying, heat races, and feature events for the Factory Stock and Pure Stock divisions, along with Stinger heat races and features.
Saturday night shifts the spotlight to CRUSA Dirt Late Models and CRUSA Street Stocks with qualifying, heats, and feature racing on tap, while the Forever 51 main event takes center stage to conclude the weekend.
Pit gates will open at 4:00 PM each day, with grandstands opening at 5:00 PM and racing scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM nightly.
General admission is $20 for ages 12 and up, $15 for children ages 7-11, while kids 6 and under are admitted free. Pit admission is $40 per night or $70 for a two-day pass.
Deep South Speedway is located at 32971 State Highway 59 in Loxley, Alabama.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early and be part of a special weekend that combines high-powered dirt track racing with a celebration of community and remembrance at one of Lower Alabama’s premier racing facilities.
