Crate Racin' USA Returns to East Alabama for the Alabama State Championship

Eastaboga, AL (September 16, 2024) – The Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin' USA Dirt Late Model Series will return to the "Playground of Power," East Alabama Motor Speedway, for the highly anticipated 52nd Annual Alabama State Championship. The prestigious event is set to take place on September 19th - September 22nd, in Phenix City, AL. America's Leader in Racing will compete on Saturday and Sunday to wrap up the historic weekend.

This marks the 11th visit in the series’ history to East Alabama Motor Speedway, with the first appearance dating back to July 14th, 2007, where William Thomas secured a memorable victory over David Gentry. Last year, Knoxville, TN driver Hayden Cardwell made headlines by dominating the $10,000 feature event, leading all 50 laps to claim his first career series win ahead of 2023 series champion Mark Whitener and Lucas Ruark.

The Alabama State Championship weekend will kick off on Thursday, September 19th, and will feature a thrilling lineup of racing divisions beyond the Crate Late Models, including 602 Late Models, Limited Late Models, Hobby, Street Stocks, Road Warrior, FWD Stock, 602 Chargers, and Crown Vics.
