Gulf South Set for Freddy Cook Memorial at Super Bee Speedway This Saturday
(Eastaboga, AL – August 13, 2025) – The Gulf South Crate Racing Association (GSCRA) is gearing up for one of its most anticipated stops of the season, returning to Super Bee Speedway in Chatham, Louisiana, this Saturday night, August 16, for the Freddy Cook Memorial. This event marks the sixth GSCRA appearance at the high-banked Louisiana oval.
Two-time Super Bee winner this season, Bubba Mullins, will be one to watch after sweeping the June 6–7 doubleheader at the track. Mullins enters the weekend just 20 points behind points leader Rob Litton, setting up a high-stakes battle for the championship lead. Litton, along with past winners David Winslett and David Williamson, will be looking to hold off Mullins’ momentum and capture the $1,500 payday in the GSCRA–CRUSA Late Models.
The night’s racing card is stacked, featuring: $1,500-to-win GSCRA–CRUSA Late Models, $1,500-to-win Pro Mods, Sportsters, Limited, Factory Stocks, Tuners, and Street Stocks.
