Herbert and Stevenson Score Weekend Wins with CRUSA Late Model Sportsman Tour

(Eastaboga, AL – August 18, 2025) – The Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Late Model Sportsman Tour shared the stage with the CRUSA Dirt Late Model Series this past weekend, making stops at Penton Raceway in Lafayette, AL on Friday and Senoia Raceway in Senoia, GA on Saturday. Two different winners added their names to the record books, as Koulten Herbert and Payton Stevenson each claimed victories.

Friday night marked the series’ first-ever appearance at the tight bullring of Penton Raceway, and 25 drivers checked in for the $1,500-to-win feature. Pole sitter Austin Bloodworth looked to be in control for much of the 25-lap main event, but Locust Grove, Georgia’s Koulten Herbert had other plans. Charging from his fifth starting position, Herbert made a decisive late-race pass to score his first series victory.

Bloodworth held on to finish runner-up, followed by Griffin Smith, Chase Giddens, and points leader Brayden Johnson rounding out the top five.

McDonough, Georgia’s Payton Stevenson powered his #4 machine into the lead with 16 laps to go and never looked back, holding off a hard-charging Bloodworth, who finished second for the second straight night.
