Crate Racin' USA

Gipson, Bradford, and Combs Win at Xtreme!

(Eastaboga, AL - August 26, 2025) – Xtreme Speedway fans enjoyed a thrilling night of Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing action on Saturday, August 23, as three divisions delivered competitive racing on the high-banked 3/8-mile clay oval in Danville, Alabama.

CRUSA Modified Sportsman - Nineteen entries filled the pit area for the Modified Sportsman division, and the feature event quickly turned into a battle for the top spot. After starting from third, Chuck Gipson (10G) seized control of the race on lap 3, overtaking Greg Wilhite (W7) for the lead. Gipson led the remaining 13 laps to secure the victory.

Wilhite maintained the runner-up spot, while Keith Coan (31) advanced from eighth to claim a strong third-place finish. Luke Riddle (28) and Mike Henn (69) rounded out the top five.

Pole-sitter Jason Markewitz (7M) posted the fastest qualifying lap of the night at 15.744 seconds but fell victim to mechanical problems that sidelined him early in the feature.

CRUSA 602 Late Model Sportsman - The 602 Late Model Sportsman division was dominated by Logan Bradford (67), who set quick time in qualifying with a 14.318-second lap before leading all 16 laps of the feature from the pole. Bradford’s flawless performance earned him a flag-to-flag victory.
