Emison, Nelson, and Berry Collect CRUSA Weekly Wins at Camden

(Eastaboga, AL – August 26, 2025) – After a string of rainouts, Camden Speedway finally returned to action this past Saturday night with only its seventh event of the 2025 season. Fans were treated to a full slate of Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing along with a round of bicycle races for the kids, creating a family-friendly evening at the Camden, Tennessee oval. When the checkered flags waved, RJ Emison, Dale Nelson, and Rex Berry stood tall as the night’s feature winners.

CRUSA Late Model Sportsman - The CRUSA Late Model Sportsman division saw RJ Emison of Dyer, TN, deliver a near-perfect night. Emison set quick time in qualifying with a lap of 16.466 seconds, won his heat race, and then capped it off by leading every lap of the 15-lap feature to secure the victory.
Behind him, Knox Lamberth advanced from the fourth starting spot to claim the runner-up position, while Tanner Meals rounded out the podium in third. Veteran Ronnie Cooper came home fourth, followed by Joel Russell in fifth. Kevin Smith and Mason Pickens completed the rundown, with Pickens credited with a DNF.

A Feature 1 (15 Laps): 1. 9-RJ Emison[1]; 2. 17-Knox Lamberth[4]; 3. 23-Tanner Meals[3]; 4. 10-Ronnie Cooper[2]; 5. 61-Joel Russell[5]; 6. 711-Kevin Smith[7]; 7. (DNF) 56-Mason Pickens[6]

CRUSA Street Stocks - The Street Stocks put on another strong showing with six cars entering competition. Dale Nelson was the driver to beat, powering his N1 machine to both the heat race and feature victories. Nelson’s performance was especially impressive as he held off TJ Herndon, who had earned fast time honors in qualifying. Herndon crossed the line second, while Dakota Berry secured the third and final podium spot.

Andrew Adams and Ryan Latch rounded out the top five, while Max Morris suffered mechanical issues and did not finish.

A Feature 1 (15 Laps): 1. N1-Dale Nelson[1]; 2. 1-TJ Herndon[2]; 3. C1-Dakota Berry[3]; 4. 24-Andrew Adams[5]; 5. 38-Ryan Latch[4]; 6. (DNF) 141-Max Morris[6]

CRUSA Modifieds - In the CRUSA Modified division, it was Rex Berry who stole the show. Berry started on the pole and backed up his qualifying effort by leading all 15 laps of the feature to claim the win. Seth Blankenship advanced from third to take second, while Jacob Bryant held off Tyler Cox to finish third. Cox, despite starting on the front row, faded to fourth at the finish.
