Labor Day Bash at Talladega for CRUSA Divisions
(Eastaboga, AL – September 2, 2025) – A packed grandstand and 158 total entries helped close out Labor Day weekend in style on Sunday night at Talladega Short Track, as the “Hornets Nest” roared to life with the annual Labor Day Bash featuring the USCS Sprint Cars. Alongside the winged sprint car excitement, the Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Divisions delivered thrilling action with competitive racing throughout the night.
CRUSA Dirt Late Models - 20 entries | 20 Laps
Tanner Collins of Franklin, GA, put on a flawless performance in the CRUSA Dirt Late Model feature, starting from the pole and leading all 20 laps to secure the victory. Collins set the tone early in qualifying with a fast lap of 14.703 seconds, then backed it up with a strong feature drive.
Nikalas Godfrey chased Collins across the line to claim the runner-up spot, with Jason Lively finishing third. Hard charger honors went to Adam Gauldin, who climbed from 11th to a strong 4th-place finish. David Kay rounded out the top five.

CRUSA 602 Late Model Sportsman - 21 entries | 15 Laps
David Kay pulled double duty on the night and came away with a victory in the 602 Late Model Sportsman division. Starting from the pole, Kay led all 15 laps to claim the checkered flag. Raeann Gibbs kept the pressure on and secured second place, while Brodie Thompson rounded out the podium in third.
Olivia Gentry Williams turned in a solid performance for fourth, with Brayden Williams completing the top five.

CRUSA Modified Sportsman - 30 entries | Double Features
(June 14th Makeup + Labor Day Bash Program)
Fans were treated to not one, but two Modified Sportsman features on Sunday night as a June 14th rainout was completed alongside the regularly scheduled program.
In the makeup feature, Luke Riddle stole the show with a dramatic last-lap pass to take the victory from Jarrad Gray. Gray settled for second, followed by Chris Yarbrough, Steve Pate, and Shane Griffith rounding out the top five.
The Labor Day Bash main event was dominated by Michael Isbell, who set fast time in qualifying and led all 15 laps from the pole to grab the win. Riddle backed up his earlier success with a runner-up finish, while Gray, Brent Powell, and Kyle May filled out the top five.
