Harris Scores CRUSA Street Stock Victory at Windy Hollow Speedway
(Owensboro, KY – August 31, 2025) – The Crate Racin’ USA Street Stocks entertained on Sunday night action at Windy Hollow Speedway, and it was Zac Harris who came out on top, charging to victory in a thrilling 15-lap feature event.
The night began with qualifying, where Matt Kelley set fast time with a lap of 16.432 seconds. Heat race wins went to Blaze Melton and Chris Shelton, setting the stage for a competitive feature.
When the green flag dropped, it was Chris Shelton who took control early, leading the opening 11 laps and holding off pressure from the field. However, Harris made his move late, taking command on lap 12 and never looking back. He drove the No. 82 machine to the checkered flag for the win, with Shelton settling for second. Grady Christian completed the podium with a strong third-place effort.
Rounding out the top five were Blaze Melton in fourth and Luke Rutter in fifth. The Hard Charger Award went to Kelley, who rebounded from the back of the field to finish sixth after advancing five positions.
