Cochran Motor Speedway Hosts Weekly CRUSA Action

(Eastaboga, AL – September 8, 2025) – Cochran Motor Speedway came alive on Saturday night with 77 competitors signing in across multiple divisions for a full evening of racing. The Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Racing Series was well represented with both the CRUSA Late Model Sportsman (602 Late Models) and CRUSA Street Stocks taking center stage.

CRUSA Late Model Sportsman (602)
Nine entries battled it out in the Sportsman ranks, with Wiley McDaniel scoring a dominant victory. McDaniel set the tone early by topping his heat race, then powered from the front row to lead all 20 laps in the feature. He held off challenges from Dustin Diem and Cody Whitworth, who completed the podium.

McDaniel’s wire-to-wire performance capped a strong night after also recording a runner-up effort in qualifying behind Kyle Connell, who was later disqualified in the feature.

CRUSA Street Stocks
The Street Stocks also fielded nine entries, where Tyler Sanders turned in an impressive performance. After qualifying on the pole and winning his heat race, Sanders paced the opening laps of the feature before briefly giving way to Tyler Davis. Sanders quickly reclaimed the lead and went on to lead 19 of the 20 circuits to secure the win.

2-04 – Tyler Davis
3-3 – Jamie Foskey
4-13 – John Bratcher
5-9 – Jessie Spradley
6-29 – Hadley Greene
7-49 – Robert Fail
8-15 – Wiley McDaniel
9-0 – Avery Peacock

Sanders and Davis put on a strong battle up front, while Jamie Foskey charged from seventh to round out the top three.

Cochran Motor Speedway will return to action on Saturday, September 20 with another weekly racing program. Divisions on tap include CRUSA Late Model Sportsman, CRUSA Street Stocks, Late Models, Crown Vic Jr., Crown Vic Pro, and Factory Stocks. Pits will open at 3:00 pm, grandstands at 3:00 pm, and hot laps are scheduled for 7:00 pm.
