Mississippi Crate Racing Series Open 2026 at Pike County Speedway

(Eastaboga, AL – February 20, 2026) The beads are out, the engines are warmed, and the 2026 season is officially underway. After Thursday night’s open practice wrapped up under the Magnolia sky, today marks Raceday One of the Mardi Gras Nationals and the official season opener for the Mississippi Crate Racing Series at Kye Kelley's Pike County Speedway. The three-day Mardi Gras Nationals celebration continues through Saturday night, delivering two full nights of racing action to close out the weekend.

Friday night’s program is headlined by the Mississippi Crate Late Models, who will take center stage with qualifying, B-Mains, a Dash, and a $2,000-to-win main event to officially kick off the 2026 championship chase. Also in action tonight are the CRUSA Street Stocks and CRUSA Modifieds,

Saturday brings a full slate of B-Mains and feature events, as multiple divisions race for big paydays to close out the Mardi Gras Nationals. The Mississippi 604 Crate Late Models return for a second straight $2,000-to-win feature, while the CRUSA Street Stocks headline Saturday night with a $2,000-to-win main event of their own.
