Sheasby Sweeps CRUSA Street Stock Action at Hattiesburg

(Hattiesburg, MS – March 1, 2026) — The green flag has officially dropped on the 2026 Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin' USA National Points season, and opening weekend at Hattiesburg Speedway delivered two nights of exciting competition during the annual Unleash the Wings weekend.

CRUSA Street Stocks shared the spotlight Friday and Saturday night alongside the thunderous USCS Sprint Cars, with hometown favorite Bryce Sheasby emerging as the star of the weekend. Sheasby put together a flawless performance, capturing both feature events to complete a perfect weekend sweep in front of the local fans.

Florida driver Nevin Gainey was equally consistent, finishing runner-up in both main events while keeping pressure on Sheasby throughout the weekend. The strong fields and competitive racing underscored the depth of the CRUSA Street Stock division as the national title chase officially began.

While the Street Stocks delivered plenty of drama, the weekend’s headlining division belonged to the Sprint Cars. New Jersey’s Davie Franek dominated the sprint car portion of the program, sweeping both nights of USCS competition to claim rounds seven and eight of the 2026 USCS season.
