MS Crate Late Racing Series Set for Battle of the States at Whynot

(Eastaboga, AL – March 10, 2026) – The Mississippi Crate Late Racing Series (MSCLRS) is gearing up for its third event of the 2026 Championship Chase as teams prepare to invade Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi, for the 13th Annual Battle of the States on March 12–14.

The MSCLRS competitors will take center stage on Saturday night, March 14, with a complete program that will include Qualifying, B-Mains, a Dash, and the Feature Event, paying $2,000 to win and $200 to start. The event will also be sanctioned under Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Late Model rules, bringing together some of the top crate late model talent from across Mississippi and the Southeast.

The 2026 MSCLRS Championship Chase has already delivered exciting racing through its opening rounds at Pike County Speedway, where Corey Neil Jr. and Sid Scarbrough each captured victories to kick off the season. As the series heads to Whynot Motorsports Park, Neil currently leads the championship standings with 285 points, followed closely by Landen Jackson, Chris McElhenney, and Sid Scarbrough in a tightly contested early-season battle.

With several championship contenders expected to be in attendance, the Battle of the States event is shaping up to be a critical early-season stop for drivers looking to build momentum in the points chase.
