Swainsboro Set to Roar to Life with 2026 Season Opener

(Eastaboga, AL – March 18, 2026) – After an early-season delay due to Mother Nature, the engines are finally ready to fire as Swainsboro Raceway officially launches its 2026 racing season this Saturday night, March 21st.

Originally slated to open on Friday, February 27th, weather forced officials to cancel the highly anticipated season opener. Now, teams and fans alike will converge on the historic Georgia red clay for a full night of weekly racing action.

Saturday night’s program will feature six divisions, headlined by Crate Racin’ USA sanctioned competition including: CRUSA Late Models (604's), CRUSA Late Model Sportsman (602's), CRUSA Street Stocks.

Also in action will be: Crown Vics, Factory Stocks, and Crown Vics Jr

With a strong lineup across all divisions, fans can expect a packed pit area and a competitive field as drivers begin their chase toward the 2026 track championships.

The evening schedule is set with:
Gates Opening at 4:00 PM
Driver’s Meeting at 6:30 PM
Practice beginning at 7:00 PM

Admission for the event is fan-friendly, with grandstand tickets priced at $15 for adults and $10 for kids (ages 6–11). Pit admission will be $35 for adults and $25 for kids (ages 6–11).

Swainsboro Raceway has long been a staple of grassroots dirt racing in the Southeast, and Saturday night marks the first opportunity in 2026 for competitors to establish early momentum and for fans to once again experience the excitement of Saturday night racing under the lights.

Camping hook-ups are available for those traveling in, and fans are encouraged to arrive early to catch all the action from start to finish.

After weeks of anticipation and a weather delay, the wait is over—the 2026 season begins this Saturday night at Swainsboro Raceway.
