Yarbrough, Anderson, and Tucker Grab CRUSA Wins at the Winter Freeze
(Eastaboga, AL – February 8, 2026) — The 18th Annual Winter Freeze at Screven Motor Speedway once again lived up to its reputation as one of the Southeast’s premier early-season showcases, as a stout field of 254 cars packed the pit area over the weekend in Sylvania, Georgia. Seven divisions took to the red clay oval, with the Crate Racin' USA weekly divisions delivering two nights of competition highlighted by dramatic passes, hard-charging drives, and split-second qualifying battles.
Friday night’s CRUSA Late Model feature was a thriller from green to checkered. Polesitter Trent Ivey and Tucker Anderson traded control of the race multiple times, with Ivey pacing much of the early and middle portions while Anderson remained glued to his rear bumper. As the laps wound down, the duel intensified, setting the stage for a finish that had the Screven faithful on their feet.
On the final lap, Anderson made a daring move off turn four, slipping past Ivey at the stripe to score a dramatic last-corner victory. Jordan Yawn rounded out the podium with a solid third-place effort, while Benji Hicks charged forward from deep in the field to finish fourth.
The Hard Charger honors went to Austin Yarbrough, who powered from 19th to 9th, showcasing patience and speed in heavy traffic.
