2026 Season Opener Set for Windy Hollow Speedway
(Eastaboga, AL – March 24, 2026) — The gates are set to swing open on the 2026 racing season at Windy Hollow Speedway, and fans will be treated to a high-powered season opener featuring multiple touring series and a full slate of weekly divisions.
The opening night will mark the first stop of the 2026 season for both the MMSA - Midwest Mini Sprint Association and the Midwest Thunder 410 Sprint Car Series, bringing winged sprint car excitement to the high-banked Kentucky oval. The return of sprint cars to Windy Hollow is always a fan favorite, and the season opener promises no shortage of speed and side-by-side racing.
Adding to the night’s excitement, Crate Racin’ USA Street Stocks will be in action as part of the season-opening card, giving regional drivers an early opportunity to make a statement in the 2026 campaign. The CRUSA Street Stocks will be joined by a strong lineup of local divisions, including Rusty Bolts, Bombers, Crown Vics, and Mini Stocks, ensuring a full night of competitive racing across multiple classes.
