Bayhi Sweeps CRUSA Street Stock Weekend at Deep South Speedway
(Loxley, AL – March 9, 2026) – Consistency and speed were the winning combination for Chris Bayhi over the weekend at Deep South Speedway, as the No. 56 driver dominated both nights of Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Street Stock competition to complete a clean sweep in Loxley, Alabama.
Bayhi proved to be the class of the field on Friday night, starting from the pole position and leading all 12 laps of the CRUSA Street Stock feature. Jeremy Doherty chased him throughout the race but was unable to mount a serious challenge as Bayhi maintained control of the event from green to checkered. Chase Jenkins rounded out the podium in third after a steady run in the 12-lap main event.
Earlier in the evening, Bayhi showed his speed by winning the preliminary heat race after starting second, while Doherty and Jenkins followed in the finishing order.
Saturday night brought more of the same as Bayhi returned to victory lane for the second consecutive evening. Once again starting from the front row, the driver of the No. 56 machine quickly took command of the race and led all 12 circuits of the feature event to secure the weekend sweep.
Malachi Magee drove an impressive race to finish second after starting third, while Carlos Williamson advanced from the fourth starting spot to claim third at the finish. Friday night runner-up Jeremy Doherty completed the top four.
Bayhi also captured the Saturday heat race win, continuing a flawless performance across the entire weekend.
The strong showing gives Bayhi early momentum as drivers across the Southeast begin accumulating points in the 2026 Crate Racin’ USA season.
Deep South Speedway will return to action on Saturday, March 21st with a full program of racing that includes CRUSA Dirt Late Models, CRUSA Street Stocks, Modifieds, Pure Stocks, Factory Stocks, Stingers, and IMCA Modifieds.
