Magnolia Welcomes World of Outlaws Late Models Back to Mississippi
(Eastaboga, AL – March 18, 2026) — One of dirt racing’s most anticipated returns is set for this weekend, as Magnolia Motor Speedway throws open its gates to welcome the World of Outlaws Late Model Series for the first time since 2018.
Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Johnny Stokes, affectionately known as “Dr. Dirt,” will host the nation’s top competitors at “The Mag” for a three-night showdown on the famed black clay oval in Columbus, Mississippi. With a lucrative $20,000 payday on the line, the weekend promises to deliver elite competition featuring what many call the “Most Powerful Late Models on the Planet.”
The March 19–21 event marks a highly anticipated return for the World of Outlaws Late Models to Magnolia Motor Speedway, reigniting a marquee tradition at one of the Mid-South’s premier racing facilities. Known for its smooth, fast, and multi-groove racing surface, Magnolia’s black dirt has long produced thrilling side-by-side action, making it a favorite stop among drivers and fans alike.
In addition to the headline division, the weekend will showcase strong support from Crate Racin’ USA-sanctioned classes, including CRUSA Late Model Sportsman (602) and CRUSA Modifieds, adding regional flavor and championship implications to an already stacked program.
