Wilson Wins During Dennis Lynch Memorial Weekend at Hendry County

(Clewiston, FL – March 22, 2026) – Trent Wilson pilots the Tim Powers-owned No. 44 machine to victory lane in the Inaugural Dennis Lynch Memorial at Hendry County Motorsports Park, highlighting CRUSA Street Stock competition in South Florida.

Wilson’s win came in impressive fashion at the “Fastest Sandpit in the South”, after adversity early in the evening. The No. 44 suffered a DNF in heat race action, forcing the team to regroup ahead of the 15-lap feature. Rolling off fourth, Wilson wasted little time working his way forward on the demanding Hendry County surface.

Chris Livernois jumped to the early lead after starting from the pole and appeared poised to control the race, leading the opening three circuits. However, trouble struck for the No. 70 machine, ending his night early after pacing laps 1–3.

That misfortune opened the door for Wilson, who surged to the front on lap four and never relinquished control. From there, the Tim Powers-owned entry was flawless, leading the final 12 laps (4–15) to secure the inaugural memorial victory.

Ryan Jones continued his consistent night with a runner-up finish in the No. 90J, while Kenneth Blaine was also sidelined before the finish after starting third.
