Southern Dirt Street Stock Series Debuts This Weekend at Needmore
(Eastaboga, AL - March 25, 2026) – A new era in Street Stock racing begins this weekend as the Inaugural Southern Dirt Street Stock Series presented by Kelley Trucking, LLC officially launches at Needmore Speedway with the 3rd Annual Southern Heritage Classic.
The highly anticipated debut of the Southern Dirt Street Stock Series brings together some of the top Street Stock competitors from across the Southeast, all chasing a strong purse structure, a lucrative points fund, and a season-long battle that will crown the first-ever series champion in 2026.
The tour kicks off March 26-28 at the always fast and competitive Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, Georgia, with $5,000 on the line in Saturday night’s main event.
The weekend begins Thursday, March 26 with an open practice session, giving teams an opportunity to dial in their setups ahead of competition. On Friday night, the intensity ramps up with Johns Performance Parts Qualifying followed by Twisted Performance and Machine Heat Races, setting the stage for Saturday’s finale.
Championship night on Saturday, March 28 will feature B-Mains, the always exciting Chris Walker Electric Pole Dash, and the $5,000-to-win main event that will officially crown the first winner in series history.
The Southern Dirt Street Stock Series, presented by Kelley Trucking, LLC, is built around a competitive 10-race schedule across the Southeast, featuring premier venues in Georgia, Mississippi, Kentucky, Alabama, and Tennessee. Each event offers strong payouts, with multiple $5,000-to-win races and a season finale paying $8,000-to-win at Whynot Motorsports Park in November.
In addition to race purses, the series boasts an impressive 2026 points fund, paying $7,500 to the champion along with additional contingency bonuses and awards throughout the top 15 in standings. Drivers will also compete for valuable contingency prizes including performance parts, equipment packages, and sponsor-backed incentives at events throughout the season.
The series also introduces a Rookie of the Year program, designed to highlight emerging talent within the Street Stock ranks, further strengthening the future of the division.
With a strong schedule, competitive payouts, and a lineup of top-tier sponsors supporting the tour, the Southern Dirt Street Stock Series is positioned to become a premier destination for Street Stock racing in the region.

Round 6: July 18 – Duck River Raceway Park (Lewisburg, TN) – $5,000

Round 8: September 3–5 – Windy Hollow Speedway (Owensboro, KY) – $5,000
Round 9: October 10 – Duck River Raceway Park (Lewisburg, TN) – $5,000
Round 10: November 5–7 – Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, MS) – $8,000
$26,000+ 2026 Points Fund - Drivers committing to the full series will race for a robust points fund paying deep through the field, highlighted by added product bonuses throughout the top 15.
