CRUSA Late Model Sportsman Tour Postponed; Weekly Racing Moves to Friday Night
(Eastaboga, AL – April 1, 2026) – Crate Racin’ USA and North Alabama Speedway officials have announced that this weekend’s Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Late Model Sportsman Tour event, the “Rumble by the River” at North Alabama Speedway, has been postponed due to an unfavorable weather forecast for Saturday.
The highly anticipated return to the Tuscumbia, Alabama facility will now be rescheduled for a later date, with officials from both the series and the speedway working together to secure a new date later this season.
North Alabama Speedway shared the following statement regarding the decision: “After speaking with Crate Racin’ USA officials, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Rumble by the River. We are working on a date to reschedule to a later date in the year…This is not something any of us wanted to do, but with the forecast and the amount of travel involved, we feel it is the best decision for everyone.”
While the tour event has been postponed, North Alabama Speedway will still move forward with racing action this weekend — shifting its planned Easter weekend program to Friday night.
Fans can still enjoy a full weekly racing lineup featuring CRUSA Late Model Sportsman, CRUSA Modified Sportsman, 365 Late Models, Mini Stocks, Buzz, Vintage, and Factory Stocks. The evening will also include family-friendly Easter activities, highlighted by a visit from the Easter Bunny and a large Easter egg hunt for kids.
In an effort to accommodate fans and teams traveling from work, the drivers meeting has been moved to 7:00 PM.
Grandstand admission will be $15 for adults, with kids 10 and under admitted FREE. Pit passes are $35 for adults, $15 for ages 6–11, and FREE for children 5 and under.
With the postponement, the Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Late Model Sportsman Tour will now turn its attention to its next scheduled event on May 16 at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi. The $2,000-to-win event will mark just the second visit in series history to the “House of Hook,” where Tyler Burgess captured the inaugural victory in 2024.
