Tucker and Markewitz Score Wins at Xtreme

(Moulton, AL – April 27, 2026) – Weekly racing returned to Xtreme Speedway on Saturday night, April 25, as competitors across multiple divisions battled it out in front of a strong crowd at the North Alabama oval.

In the CRUSA Late Model Sportsman division, it was Joey Tucker putting together a dominant performance. After setting fast time in qualifying with a lap of 14.448 seconds, Tucker started on the pole and led all 15 laps of the feature event to secure the victory. Gary Tucker charged forward from the fourth starting position to finish second, while Johnny Robinson completed the podium in third. Noel Bailey crossed the line in fourth, followed by Chad Gentry in fifth.

The CRUSA Modified Sportsman division featured a stout field of 18 entries, with Jason Markewitz emerging victorious. Markewitz took control early and led all 15 laps en route to the win. Brooke Tedford turned in an impressive runner-up finish after starting on the front row, with Darren Jewell rounding out the top three. Keith Coan made a strong drive through the field to finish fourth, while Steve Vann completed the top five.

The action continues next Saturday night, May 2, with a special Mother’s Day weekend event, featuring CRUSA 602 Late Model Sportsman, CRUSA Modified Sportsman, Mini Stock, Factory Stock, Front Wheel Drive, and Xtreme 365 Late Models.

Pit gates will open at 4:00 PM, with grandstands opening at 4:30 PM. Hot laps are scheduled for 6:30 PM, with racing to follow at 7:00 PM.
