Cliburn, Link, and Magee Score CRUSA Weekly Racing Victories at Jackson
(Eastaboga, AL – May 19, 2026) – Weekly racing action returned to Jackson Motor Speedway on Saturday night, May 16th with the CRUSA sanctioned divisions putting on a strong night of racing action in front of the Mississippi fans. The CRUSA Late Models, CRUSA Late Model Sportsman, and CRUSA Street Stocks were all in action during the weekend program.
In CRUSA Late Model competition, Hayden Cliburn charged to victory in the 15-lap feature event. Cliburn started second and worked his way past early pace setter Sid Scarbrough to secure the win over Tyler D. Hudson and Scarbrough. Christian Chamblee completed the finishing order in the four-car field.
Scarbrough opened the night by setting fast time in qualifying with a lap of 15.579 seconds.

The CRUSA Modified Sportsman division saw Bobby Link edge out Matt Fitzhugh in the 10-lap feature event after earning the pole position during qualifying. Link turned the fastest lap of the night with a 17.144-second circuit before leading all 10 laps to the checkered flag.

The CRUSA Street Stocks produced the largest field of the night with nine entries signed into competition. Malachi Magee swept the evening by winning his heat race before leading the feature from the pole position to collect the 15-lap main event victory. Cole Stringer finished second with Kevin Whittington completing the podium.
