Topless Outlaws and TST Cup Round #3 Headline Saturday Night at Talladega

(Eastaboga, AL – May 20, 2026) – Talladega Short Track is set for another huge night of racing this Saturday, May 23, as the Topless Outlaw Dirt Racing Series invades “The Hornet’s Nest” for a special $4,000-to-win showdown, while the chase for the 2026 TST Cup Championship continues with Point Race #3.

Fans can expect a packed evening of high-speed dirt track racing as some of the Southeast’s top racers battle wheel-to-wheel on the historic high-banked red clay oval in Eastaboga, Alabama.

Alongside the Topless Outlaws, the Crate Racin’ USA Weekly divisions will once again take center stage as drivers continue their pursuit of valuable TST Cup championship points in the CRUSA 602 Late Model Sportsman, CRUSA 604 Dirt Late Models, and CRUSA Modified Sportsman divisions.

With two rounds complete, several tight championship battles are already beginning to take shape heading into one of the biggest weekly racing nights of the season.

In the CRUSA 602 Late Model Sportsman standings, Brennen Shirley enters the weekend atop the leaderboard with 46 points following a pair of consistent performances to open the season.

Brandon Crosby sits just three points back in second, while Chris Elliott trails by only four points entering Saturday night. Brody Woods and Nick Morris round out the top five in the standings.

Defending contenders Marty Massey, Derek Stewart, Jamie Godbee, and Brodie Thompson remain within striking distance as the championship chase heats up.

The CRUSA Dirt Late Model division continues to produce one of the closest championship fights in the TST Cup series.

Former touring standout Jake Knowles currently leads the standings with 47 points, but hometown favorite Adam Gauldin trails by just a single marker entering Round #3.

Marty Lunsford sits third, while Brad Berry and Jason Morris remain firmly in contention. Defending track champion Nikalas Godfrey also sits tied for fifth and looks to gain momentum this weekend.

Drivers such as Mavrick Davidson, David Kay, and Connor Norris will also be looking to make major moves in the standings on Saturday night.

The CRUSA Modified Sportsman division has seen Steven Pate emerge as the early-season leader after a strong opening stretch.

Pate enters Round #3 with a 10-point advantage over Mark Bangs, while Parker Thompson and Erik Hogsed remain within striking distance.

The Modified field has consistently delivered some of the most competitive racing of the season, and another stacked lineup is expected Saturday night.
