Windy Hollow Speedway Set for Huge Memorial Day Weekend Doubleheader
(Eastaboga, AL – May 20, 2026) – A massive Memorial Day weekend of racing is headed to Windy Hollow Speedway as fans in western Kentucky will be treated to two action-packed nights featuring the American Big Rig Racing Series on Saturday night and the American Sprint Car Tour on Sunday evening.
The exciting two-day showcase will bring a unique mix of horsepower and hometown racing excitement to Owensboro, with both nights also featuring several local divisions competing under the lights at the popular Kentucky oval.
Saturday night, May 23rd, the stars of the American Big Rig Racing Series invade Windy Hollow Speedway for a special appearance featuring the massive racing semi trucks battling wheel-to-wheel on the dirt. The evening will also include CRUSA Street Stocks, CRUSA (602-604) Crate Late Models, and Jr. Crown Vic divisions.
Fans can expect a thrilling night of racing as the heavy-duty big rigs put on a one-of-a-kind show around the speedway. Gates will open at 3:00 PM, with engine heat scheduled for 6:00 PM and qualifying beginning at 6:30 PM.
General admission for Saturday’s event will be $30 for adults and $10 for children ages 6-10, while pit admission is set at $45 for adults and $20 for kids ages 6-10.
The excitement continues on Sunday, May 24th, as the American Sprint Car Tour rolls into Windy Hollow Speedway for another night of high-speed competition. The winged sprint cars will headline a full racing program that also includes CRUSA Street Stocks, Rusty Bolts, Mini Stocks, Economies, Crown Vics, and Bombers.
Known for their lightning-fast speeds and edge-of-your-seat action, the ASCT competitors are expected to put on a spectacular performance for race fans during the Memorial Day weekend finale.
Sunday’s gates will open at 3:00 PM, with the drivers meeting scheduled for 5:15 PM, qualifying at 5:30 PM, and racing to follow shortly after.
Sunday general admission will be $20 for adults ages 11 and up, $10 for children ages 6-10, and free admission for children five and under. Pit admission will be $40 for adults, $20 for kids ages 6-10, and free for children five and under.
Located at 4731 Windy Hollow Road in Owensboro, Kentucky, Windy Hollow Speedway continues to build momentum in 2026 with a strong schedule of special events and weekly racing action throughout the season.
