13th Annual Southern Street Stock Nationals Set to Roar at Whynot Motorsports Park
(Eastaboga, AL - August 4, 2025) — One of the biggest Street Stock events in the country is back and better than ever as the 13th Annual Southern Street Stock Nationals takes over Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi, on August 13-16, 2025.
Headlined by the Crate Racin’ USA (CRUSA) Street Stocks, this four-day extravaganza will feature a jam-packed pit area, thrilling racing, and championship implications across both the CRUSA and Mississippi Street Stock Series (MSSS).
Last year’s Southern Street Stock Nationals attracted more than 220 total race cars, including over 100 CRUSA Street Stocks and more than 100 Factory Stocks/Pure Stocks. The 2025 edition is expected to exceed those numbers once again, bringing the thunder to the high-banked Mississippi clay.
Fans can expect an electric atmosphere with packed grandstands and unforgettable action, including the iconic sight of 30+ Street Stocks charging three-wide into Turn One.
The Nationals will count as official points events for both CRUSA and the Mississippi Street Stock Series, with major regional and national championship implications.
It also marks the second CRUSA Street Stock appearance of the season at Whynot Motorsports Park — known affectionately as the “House of Hook.” Back in the spring, Caiden Jackson drove to victory at the venue, and this time, the stakes and competition will be even higher.
The lead-in to this marquee event was the Prelude to the Southern Street Stock Nationals, held this past weekend at Whynot. Spencer Hughes captured the CRUSA Street Stock win, while Justin Thomas topped the Factory Stock field, setting the tone for what promises to be a highly competitive Nationals week.
