21st Annual Governors Cup CRUSA Winners at Magnolia

(Eastaboga, AL – October 12, 2025) - Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi hosted a strong weekend of Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Weekly Divisions as part of the 21st Annual Governors Cup. The event featured two full nights of racing alongside the national touring series, with competitive action across the Guest Body Shop CRUSA Late Model Sportsman, Victory Lane Tire & Lube CRUSA Modified Sportsman, and Four Seasons Farm & Garden CRUSA Street Stocks divisions.

Friday Night Highlights – October 10

Guest Body Shop CRUSA Late Model Sportsman - Colby Ponds continued his impressive 2025 season by sweeping the night in qualifying, heats, and the 15-lap feature. Ponds led every circuit from the pole to secure the victory, holding off Josh Parkerson and Jarrett Jones in a clean and competitive main event.

Top Five Finishers: 1. Colby Ponds, 2. Josh Parkerson, 3. Jarrett Jones, 4. Ellie Hughes Callahan, 5. Morgen Lambert.

Laps Led: Ponds (1–15).

Victory Lane Tire & Lube CRUSA Modified Sportsman - Parker Price found his way to Victory Lane with a late race pass over Jamie Sudduth. Sudduth led early before Price took control on lap 13 and never looked back, earning his first win of the weekend.

Top Five Finishers: 1. Parker Price, 2. Jamie Sudduth, 3. Dees Price, 4. Jase Knight, 5. Billy Tedford.

Laps Led: Sudduth (1–12), Price (13–15).

Four Seasons Farm & Garden CRUSA Street Stocks - Veteran racer Justin McRee dominated the 15-lap main event after taking the lead on lap five from Jason Hollis. McRee would go on to score a weekend sweep in the division.

Top Five Finishers: 1. Justin McRee, 2. Jason Hollis, 3. Shelby Sheedy, 4. Jeff Holloway, 5. (DNF) Craig Barham.

Laps Led: Hollis (1–4), McRee (5–15).

Saturday Night Highlights – October 11

Guest Body Shop CRUSA Late Model Sportsman - Saturday saw a new face in Victory Lane as Chace Pennington captured the 15-lap feature after a late-race charge. Pennington slipped by Ponds with just four laps remaining to collect the win in an 11-car field. Ponds settled for second, with Parkerson rounding out the podium.

Top Five Finishers: 1. Chace Pennington, 2. Colby Ponds, 3. Josh Parkerson, 4. Jarrett Jones, 5. Covy Parsons.

Laps Led: Ponds (1–11), Pennington (12–15).

Victory Lane Tire & Lube CRUSA Modified Sportsman - For the second straight night, Parker Price parked it in Victory Lane—this time in more dominant fashion. Price led all 15 laps from the pole and never faced a serious challenge. Chad Williams and Dees Price completed the podium.

Top Five Finishers: 1. Parker Price, 2. Chad Williams, 3. Dees Price, 4. Jamie Sudduth, 5. Jase Knight.

Laps Led: Price (1–15).

Four Seasons Farm & Garden CRUSA Street Stocks - Justin McRee completed a perfect weekend sweep by leading flag-to-flag in Saturday’s 15-lap feature. Johnny Stokes finished second, followed by Shelby Sheedy in third.

Top Four Finishers: 1. Justin McRee, 2. Johnny Stokes, 3. Shelby Sheedy, 4. Jeff Holloway.

Laps Led: McRee (1–15).
