Mississippi Street Stock Series Gears Up for Gumbo Nationals at Greenville
(Eastaboga, AL – October 1, 2025) – The Mississippi Street Stock Series/Crate Racin’ USA Street Stocks, is set to invade Greenville, Mississippi this weekend as Greenville Speedway hosts the prestigious 19th Annual Gumbo Nationals, October 2-4, 2025.
This crown jewel weekend has become one of the premier fall dirt racing events in the Mid-South, with more than $85,000 in prize money on the line across multiple divisions. Street Stock competitors will headline their portion of the program with a $1,000-to-win special on Friday, October 3rd (non-points), followed by the $2,000-to-win Mississippi Street Stock Series main event on Saturday night, October 4th.
The Gumbo Nationals arrives at a crucial point in the 2025 Mississippi Street Stock Series championship chase, with only a handful of races left to determine the season champion. Caiden Jackson of Pelahatchie, MS, has been the dominant force this season, winning at Whynot, Baton Rouge, and other stops, and he enters Greenville as the series point leader with 837 points.
Behind Jackson, the standings remain competitive:
1-Caiden Jackson – 837
2-Carl Stanley Kilgore IV – 636
3-Corey Buhler (R) – 600
4-Clayton Kilgore (R) – 568
5-Michael Santangelo – 564
6-Jamey Boland – 493
7-Sunny Gilmore (R) – 471
8-Logan Bright – 466
9-Richie Tassin – 454
10-Shelby Sheedy – 412
Jackson’s consistency has kept him on top, but with two Kilgores, Santangelo, and Boland all in the mix, Greenville Speedway’s challenging Gumbo Nationals surface could be a deciding factor in tightening the chase before the season winds down.
