Crate Racin' USA
10th Annual World Short Track Championship at Charlotte this Weekend
(Eastaboga, AL - October 28, 2025) – The Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series now turns its attention to one of the crown jewels of short track racing — the 10th Annual World Short Track Championship at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, set for October 30 through November 1.
This highly anticipated weekend serves as a bonus race on the 2025 series calendar, giving drivers an opportunity to compete for an impressive $8,000-to-win main event and replace their worst points finish of the season with the points earned from the Saturday night finale.
The World Short Track Championship (WSTC) celebrates grassroots racing by bringing together competitors from across the country to battle on one of dirt racing’s biggest stages. The 4/10-mile red clay oval at The Dirt Track at Charlotte will once again serve as the ultimate proving ground for local and regional heroes eager to shine under the national spotlight.
Ten divisions will share the stage throughout the weekend, including the FOX Factory CRUSA Pro Late Models (604), Summit Racing Equipment Modified Mania/UMP Modifieds, RaceQuip CRUSA/Mid-East Street Stocks, Hoosier Racing Tire Mid-East Crate Modifieds, MSD DIRTcar NE Pro Stocks, VP Racing DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, SRI Performance MMSA Monster Thunder Bombers, COMP Cams MMSA Monster Mini-Stocks, DirtVision SEHA FWD/Hornets, and Mid-East 602 Late Models.
With a $34,000 purse boost over last year — a 22% increase — the total payout and contingency awards exceed $200,000, making this one of the richest grassroots events of the season.
