Champion to Be Crowned at Grayson County Speedway’s Late Model Nationals

(Eastaboga, AL - October 27, 2025) — The curtain will fall on the 2025 season for the American Crate Late Model Series this weekend, October 31 through November 1, as the Late Model Nationals takes center stage at Grayson County Speedway in Bells, Texas. The two-day Halloween weekend spectacular will feature a full slate of racing action, costume contests, trunk-or-treating for kids, and the final championship showdown of the season.

The action kicks off Thursday, October 30th, with an open practice session for all divisions.

Friday night, October 31st, the American Crate Late Models will compete for $1,000 to win and $250 to start, while Saturday’s championship finale on November 1st ups the ante to $1,500 to win and $300 to start. Both nights will also feature a full card of racing in Factory Stocks, Limited/B-Mods, Eco Mods, Eco Stocks, and Jr. Limiteds, with thousands of dollars in prize money on the line.

Fans will also enjoy Halloween-themed festivities each night:
Friday: Kids Halloween Costume Contest during intermission
Saturday: Adult Costume Contest with $100 to win and a Kids Trunk-or-Treat in the pits from 2:30–4:00 PM

For those unable to attend, fans can catch every lap of the Late Model Nationals LIVE on Race On!

The points championship will be decided at Grayson County, with Spring, Texas driver Beau Begnaud (#32) holding a narrow lead entering the weekend. Begnaud leads Robbie Starnes (#25) by just 36 points, with Dennie Gieber (#15), Kason Capps (#12), and Donnie Shipp (#25D) rounding out the top five.

Each position will be crucial as drivers chase their final opportunity to etch their name into the 2025 record books. With back-to-back nights of racing and full points on the line, the title could come down to the final laps on Saturday night.

Season at a Glance
It’s been a competitive season for the American Crate Late Model Series, sanctioned by Crate Racin’ USA, with standout victories across Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.

Corey Neil Jr. and David Winslett opened the year with wins at Sabine and Boothill Speedways.

Donnie Shipp, Patrik Daniel, and Beau Begnaud each claimed early summer triumphs.

Marcus Mikulencak, Robbie Starnes, and Dennie Gieber added midseason wins, while Rob Litton and Corey Neil Jr. rounded out the most recent winners at ArkLaTex Speedway.

With 10 events completed, the series has delivered door-to-door excitement across the region and now heads to Bells, TX, to decide the champion.
