Wilson, Kay, and Wood Claim CRUSA Weekly Wins at the Ice Bowl
(Eastaboga, AL – January 7, 2026) — The new year opened in historic fashion as more than 400 race cars filled Calhoun County for the 35th Annual Ice Bowl at Talladega Short Track. Despite weather challenges that included rain on Friday night and thick fog late Saturday, the iconic winter event once again delivered thrilling competition across all divisions, with the final checkered flag waving on a successful weekend for track owner Adam Stewart and his dedicated staff.
The Ice Bowl has long been a must-attend destination for racers and fans alike, and the 2026 edition proved no different as competitors from across the country battled on the famed third-mile red clay oval. Stewart reflected on the weekend’s success following the event:
“I don’t have the right words or expressions to thank everyone for their support of this event and TST. We pushed through to make the event happen, and that is thanks to everyone involved at both the track and from race teams and fans. We will make adjustments and strive to make it even better going forward. Thanks to everyone — look forward to many more Ice Bowls!”
Looking ahead, officials confirmed that the 36th Annual Ice Bowl will return on January 7–9, 2027, with full event details to be released at a later date.
