Trosclair Doubles Up, Jackson Shines at Pike County

(Eastaboga, AL – March 30, 2026) – A big weekend of racing unfolded at Pike County Speedway in Magnolia, Mississippi, as the United Sprint Car Series (USCS) brought high-powered winged action to town, while the Crate Racin’ USA (CRUSA) divisions delivered battles across two nights of competition.

Friday, March 27 – CRUSA Street Stocks & Modified Sportsman
The opening night of competition saw 16 CRUSA Street Stocks take the green flag, and it was Mickey Trosclair who set the tone for the weekend. After laying down the fastest lap in qualifying, Trosclair led from the front row and never looked back, capturing the feature victory in dominant fashion.

Landen Jackson charged forward from fifth to finish second, while Rodney Wing made one of the most impressive drives of the night, advancing from 14th to round out the podium in third. Doug Nastasi and Michael Rodrigue completed the top five.

In CRUSA Modified Sportsman action, Edward Guidry put together a strong performance, working his way from the fifth starting position to claim the victory. Austin Butler crossed the line in second, followed by Travis Guillot in third. Buddy Payne and Elvis Turbeville Jr. completed the finishing order.

Saturday, March 28 – CRUSA Dirt Late Models & Street Stocks
Saturday night saw the CRUSA Dirt Late Models take center stage with a 14-car field, and it was Landen Jackson returning to victory lane after an impressive drive. Starting third, Jackson methodically worked his way to the front and held off Jason Henry to secure the win.

Henry settled for second, with Curt Lipsey finishing third. Rodney Sheridan and Doug Sanchagrin completed the top five, with Sanchagrin notably advancing from 13th to earn a hard-charging effort.

The CRUSA Street Stocks returned with an even larger field of 23 competitors, and once again, Mickey Trosclair proved untouchable. After topping qualifying, Trosclair led the field to green and dominated en route to his second victory of the weekend.

Malachi Magee delivered a strong runner-up finish, with Joshua Arabie completing the podium in third. Landen Jackson capped off a consistent weekend with a fourth-place finish, while Tommy Cannon rounded out the top five.

Weekend Highlights
Trosclair’s perfect 2-for-2 performance in Street Stock competition highlighted the weekend, showcasing both speed and consistency against stout fields on both nights. Meanwhile, Landen Jackson proved to be one of the most versatile drivers in the pit area, scoring a Dirt Late Model victory while also recording multiple strong finishes in Street Stock competition.

The combination of USCS Sprint Cars and CRUSA weekly divisions made for a packed and entertaining weekend at the Magnolia, Mississippi facility, with fans treated to a wide variety of racing action.

Pike County Speedway will return to action April 23-25 with the highly anticipated “Stingers Gone Wild” weekend featuring the SCDRA Stingers.
