Wilson Stays Red Hot at Southern Raceway
(Eastaboga, AL – March 30, 2026) – It’s been a breakout start to the 2026 season for JC Wilson, and the momentum kept rolling this past weekend at Southern Raceway in Milton, Florida. The driver of the No. 02 machine added another victory to his growing resume, continuing what has quickly become one of the hottest streaks in Crate Racin’ USA competition.
A strong field of 13 CRUSA Late Model Sportsman competitors signed in for action, and Wilson proved once again he is the driver to beat. After starting sixth in his heat race, Wilson powered his way to the win, setting himself up for a solid starting position in the 15-lap main event.
When the green flag dropped on the feature, early pace-setter Osman Jones led the field to green from the pole, but it didn’t take long for Wilson to begin his charge toward the front. Once out front, Wilson never looked back, driving away to secure the victory and extend his early-season dominance. The win adds to an already impressive 2026 campaign and further establishes the No. 02 team as a major contender in CRUSA Late Model Sportsman competition.
Kody Cook delivered a strong performance to finish second after starting fifth, while Osman Jones rounded out the podium in third after leading the field early. Ricky Gilmore and Nick Lambeth completed the top five.
