Gay and Davis Score Easter Spring Fling Victories at The Historic 441 Speedway

(Dublin, GA – April 5, 2026) — A strong crowd and a full night of racing highlighted the Easter Spring Fling at 441 Speedway on Saturday night, as the historic Georgia oval hosted a full program of Crate Racin’ USA weekly divisions. When the night came to a close, Caleb Gay and Matt Davis stood tall in Victory Lane, each leading every lap of their respective feature events.

Gay Dominates Late Model Sportsman Field
In the CRUSA Late Model Sportsman division, Caleb Gay delivered a dominant performance, leading all 15 laps of the feature to claim the victory over a competitive 10-car field.

Gay set the tone early in the evening by topping qualifying with a fast lap of 15.095 seconds, then backed it up with a wire-to-wire victory in the main event. Ken Ricks finished second after a solid run, while Baker Davis rounded out the podium in third.

Justus Maurice crossed the line fourth, followed by Jason Howell in fifth. Cody King finished sixth after starting on the front row, while Eric Baggett advanced through the field to finish seventh. Wesley Robertson, Lance Griffith, and Randall Powell—who was unable to start—completed the finishing order.

Davis Continues Strong Start in Street Stocks
The CRUSA Street Stocks saw another strong performance from Matt Davis, who continued his winning ways by leading all 15 laps of the feature to secure the Easter Spring Fling victory.

Davis also topped qualifying earlier in the night with a lap of 16.426 seconds, showcasing speed from the outset. Donnie Bazemore Jr. finished second, followed by Greg Ledford in third after a consistent run.

Robert Fail came home fourth, while John Bratcher completed the top five. Ricky McClain finished sixth, followed by Trevor Bone in seventh, Thorne Rape in eighth, and Avery Peacock in ninth.

In addition to the on-track action, fans were treated to a festive atmosphere with a Kids Easter Egg Toss during intermission, adding a family-friendly element to an already exciting night of racing.

The Historic 441 Speedway will return to action on Saturday, April 25, with a full weekly racing program featuring CRUSA Late Model Sportsman, CRUSA Street Stocks, Crown Vic Jr., Crown Vic Pro, Factory Stock, and 602 Chargers.
