CRUSA Dirt Late Model Series Returns to Modoc Speedway

(Eastaboga, AL – April 8, 2026) – The Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series continues its 2026 campaign this Saturday night with a highly anticipated return to Modoc Speedway for the $5,000-to-win Clarks Hill Classic.

The event marks a historic moment for both the series and the Palmetto State facility, as Modoc Speedway will host Crate Racin’ USA competition for just the second time ever—and the first since April of 2006. That inaugural event saw Shannon Buckingham take the win in a 50-lap feature over Casey Roberts and Carnell Parker, with a loaded field that included names such as Ronnie Johnson, Chris Ferguson, and Michael Page.

Now, two decades later, the series returns to a revitalized Modoc Speedway. Located just east of the South Carolina–Georgia line, the gumbo-covered 3/8-mile oval has undergone a resurgence under the leadership of promoter Ronnie Powell. His commitment to improving the racing surface and reinvigorating the facility has brought new life to the track, making it a fitting destination for the series’ return.

Crate Racin’ USA officials have expressed their appreciation to Powell and the entire Modoc Speedway team for stepping up to host the April date and ensuring the event remains a part of the 2026 schedule.

The event will also feature some bonus money throughout the night, thanks to the Modoc Speedway and some great marketing partners. Veteran’s RV Service (Hard Luck $250), Sanders Automotive (Fast Time $200), McMillian Excavating (Hard Charger $200), 706 Tree and Stump (Long Tow $200), and Coast 2 Coast Automotive ($200 Just Missed It Award) will all be handed out on Saturday night!

On track CRUSA Dirt Late Model Series action will include My Race Pass/Fantasy Racing-Hot Laps, Bama Sheds & Pole Barns-Pole Qualifying, Rogers-Dabbs Chevrolet-B-Mains, and the $5,000 to-win Clarks Hill Classic main event!

Joseph Brown will lead the standings into Saturday night’s showdown following his dominant season-opening victory at Needmore Speedway. The Pine Mountain Valley, Georgia driver carries momentum into Modoc as he looks to continue his early-season success and strengthen his position atop the championship standings.

CRUSA Dirt Late Model Series Points (Top 10 – After Needmore):
